AN EXTENDED HELLO

The Long Goodbyes’ development has been akin to primordial matter coalescing into reality. They are life-long musicians and songwriters whose musical endeavors have, for assorted reasons, morphed, recalibrated, and adapted.

The band crawled onto shore in 2017, when four friends kept ending up in the same rooms with instruments, amps, microphones, and original songs… and they liked it. And then…there was that pandemic…enough said.

Finally, the air cleared, people crept cautiously from their homes, and the band regrouped with a real, live drummer.

The fivesome embrace the fact that they are slightly more mature than your average rock/Americana band. Maturity is their strength. Their organic humility yields infectious melodies and harmonies. Unique voices making each song its own work and a piece of the collective TLG sound. “Primordial, life-long, mature”…make no mistake this band rocks, this band twangs, and this band is a joy to hear.

The Long Goodbyes have no illusions about anything (apart from perhaps world peace and healthcare for all). We are simply out to make our little blip on the radar of creativity, expression, and filling rooms with happy fans.
